“skulking around my girls!”: moving in a stealthy manner
drab plaid: any fabric woven of differently colored yarns in a cross barred pattern
strong and lithe: flexible
fearsome statue: causing fear; causing awe or respect
haggard: having a gaunt, wasted, or exhausted appearance, as from prolonged suffering, exertion, or anxiety; worn

ReplyDeleteThe characters that I dislike the most are Mrs.Rachten and Mr. Smollings.
ReplyDelete-Since the beginning you feel that something is wrong with Mrs.Rachten like you know she is weird and I had a "mala vibra" with her.
MAGIC UNDER GLASS is a book that hooks you from the begining... it's magical, interesting and surprising. A story where you'll never know what is coming next!
